… and welcome to our 1st EMU Ezine – an occasional brief email sent to communicators keen to ensure that the information and learning they develop and deliver is – Enjoyable, Memorable, Useful!

One of my current career coaching assignments is with a recent graduate.

	We are compiling his Top 10 skills, strengths, values, choices, etc. – up to 50 ‘facts’ about my coachee. He enjoys building things, so I have asked him to build a word jigsaw of all the key facts to keep in mind for his future jobsearch communications.
	To help him remember his key facts, my challenge to him is to link every fact with one or more facts on adjacent jigsaw pieces. Memory likes links!
	He will use his career ‘jigsaw’ to compile his CV, write letters and forms, on the phone with agencies and employers, and to remember his key facts at interview.
